Oh my. 2016. Whatever happened? The anti-immigrant, racist, homophobic, misogynistic rhetoric got ratcheted up, that's what. Thanks UKIP, Brexit, DailyMail, ISIS, Trump, Pence etc etc.
So, my 2017 hearts are for everyone. Hackney, refugees, migrants, EU citizens here, UK citizens there, Brexiteers, Remainers, GOP members, Trump voters, Clinton voters.
Though I've had a crisis of conscience whilst I've been enjoying playing at kiddie crafts and melting them in my oven... surely now is not the time to be buying plastic beads to melt into plastic hearts?
But I've made 'em now. Well some of them. So until I discover a fantastic, more sustainable, alternative, I'll be popping them around the place to brighten the neighbourhood/city/country/world. Anyone live near Fife? I'd love to be making them out of washed up nurdles....
